Free Electric Car Rides

I clipped in my seat belt and pushed the button. Immediately, I was addicted to the smooth sound, regenerative brakes, and fresh leather of my first electric vehicle ride in a MINI E (#91). Too bad I couldn't get a hold of #007 (Pierce was busy). Since that time, I've been hungry for knowledge on all things EV specifically regulations, state incentives, and improved battery life. So, as I buy my time here in Pittsburgh where the infrastructure is majorly lacking basic Level 2 charging, which is standardized in the U.S., I will at least salivate as the Michigan Electric Auto Association will host their 2nd annual rally. It starts on June 12th with free admission and free rides. You can meet with EV owners, discuss EV technology and learn how to convert your gas guzzler into an electric drive and free yourself from foreign oil. Doors open at 10am to 6pm at Schoolcraft College, Livonia, MI.

I'm always thrilled with cars that are electrically-charged. And if only, I would be granted to ride one of those, I would love to try it out myself, just to see which is better is it the fuel-operated one or the electric-generated one.

It would be a good idea if all the automotive companies start putting up their own model of electric-generated cars. Just to give option to their users whether they prefer the the usual one or the e-cars.

One option is to buy a used vehicle that somebody else has converted to an electric vehicle. hybrid honey
